Property Maintenance Technician Required as soon as possible

37 hours/week– Alternative morning and afternoon shifts

Scale 4

£16966 – £18488/annum

If you are good at DIY and able to carry out general repairs and maintenance we would love to hear from you.

We are looking to appoint someone to help our maintenance team carry out general repairs and maintenance.

Hours over two alternate weekly shifts

Cover for evening events/call outs/weekends at the school may be required.

Duties would include:

  • Carrying out minor repairs and improvements across the sites including general maintenance that do not require a specialised technician
  • Painting and decorating
  • Joinery – first line maintenance of fixtures and fittings
  • Plumbing – un-blocking sinks, toilets and waste pipes; repair leaky taps.
  • Complete simple projects such as tiling, install flooring, upkeep and maintenance of interior and exterior of the buildings.
  • To support the team in undertaking porterage tasks as required including setting up/ clearing and moving furniture

The successful candidate will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions are adhered to.

Formal qualifications are not required but we are looking for someone who can work as part of a team.  Our technician would be proactive in making a safe, professional and aesthetic environment for our students.

12.5 hours per week + some holiday cleaning

we are looking for cleaners to work at the school each evening from 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. during term time and additional hours during school holidays

The successful candidate will be a team player who takes pride in their work.

Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
