Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages

We seek to appoint a dynamic and motivated MFL teacher for September 2018.

We are an outstanding school with an excellent record of producing high quality linguists.  As a girls’ school with a mixed Sixth Form we are looking for a passionate teacher of MFL who can deliver outstanding lessons across all aspects of the curriculum, and who will be able to offer French, German or Spanish at A Level.  Teaching across KS3-KS5, you will have a track record of high quality teaching and purposeful learning in your current teaching post or from your secondary school placements.  At all stages of your career, you will be expected to contribute to whole school and curriculum area innovations.

Full Time Administration Assistant (37 hours per week) term time only

The school is looking to appoint an experienced school administrator to work as part of the office team, supporting the teaching staff in the day-to-day running of the school.

This busy role includes completing administrative tasks as well as liaising with parents and visitors which requires excellent customer care and communication skills. You will need to be flexible, organised and show initiative to be successful in this role.

We need someone who:

  • has excellent timekeeping
  • is highly organised and who can manage their time effectively to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • has experience in an administrative role (preferably in a school setting)
  • has excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (including the mail merge function) and SIMS (although SIMS training can be given)
  • has good oral and written communication
  • has excellent customer care skills with experience of dealing with face-to-face interaction
  • smart appearance is essential

We are looking for cleaners to work at the school each evening from 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. during term time and additional hours during school holidays

The successful candidate will be a team player who takes pride in their work.

Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
