Pastoral Support Assistant
Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College are looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Pastoral Support Assistant on a 37 hour per week, term time plus Inset Days temporary contract, in the first instance.
Required for September 2025
Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College pay scale – Grade 5 £25,001.01 - £27,711.94 Pro Rata
The Pastoral Support Assistant will support individuals and groups of students with challenging behaviour, implementing strategies for managing such challenging behaviour in the classroom and the wider school to enable access to learning, contributing to the development and maintenance of a purposeful, nurturing learning environment.

The successful candidate will liaise with teaching and support staff to enhance the learning environment and education for all students and ensure any additional needs are met. They will be working with a group of enthusiastic, conscientious and compassionate staff in the Literacy, English and Learning Support Department.

The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Science Laboratory Technician to support the Science Department. The Science Technician will provide a practical, daily technician service to members of the teaching staff in the Science Department through the preparation and provision of equipment, apparatus and chemicals to enable pupils to carry out laboratory and workshop practical work and experiments.
