Who was Ada Lovelace?
Ada Lovelace was the world's first computer programmer. Ada's success came at a time where women could barely access the most basic education, let alone anything more advanced. A fantastic role model for the students at Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College and a clear message that there is no place for gender inequality in our community.
"I am never so happy as when I am really engaged in good earnest, & it makes me must wonderfully cheerful & merry at other times, which is curious & very satisfactory."
"The more I study, the more insatiable do I feel my genius for it to be "
